Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 25, 2026
There are no accounts, no profiles, no servers. Everything you do in Stackd stays on your phone. We can't see your workouts, your nutrition, your weights, or anything else.
Stackd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Stackd treats your data when you use the iOS app.
1. We don't collect personal data
Stackd has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no profiles. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information about you on any server, because there are no servers.
2. Your data stays on your device
All of your data — including workout programs, exercises, sets and reps, weights, e1RM history, session history, nutrition plans, and meal logs — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
This data never leaves your phone unless you choose to share or export it (for example, exporting CSV files yourself).
3. iCloud (optional)
If you enable iCloud sync (where supported), your data is synced through your personal iCloud account between your own Apple devices. We do not have access to anything in your iCloud. iCloud is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
4. Third parties
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, tracking SDKs, or any other third-party data collection tools. The only third party involved with Stackd is:
- Apple — for app distribution, subscriptions, and (optionally) iCloud sync. Apple's data practices are covered by their own privacy policy.
5. Subscriptions
Stackd Premium subscriptions are billed and managed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not see your payment details. We only receive an anonymous signal from StoreKit indicating whether your subscription is active.
6. Diagnostics
If you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may share anonymous, aggregated crash reports with us. These reports are anonymized by Apple and contain no personal data. You can disable this at any time in iOS Settings.
7. Your data, your control
- Export: export your programs, nutrition plans, and session history as CSV from Profile → Settings → Export Data.
- Delete: delete the app and all locally stored data is removed. There is nothing on our end to delete because nothing is sent to us.
- Subscription: manage or cancel via iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
8. Children's privacy
Stackd is not directed at children under 13. Because we do not collect data, we cannot knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
